Elimination of contaminants in gaseous, liquid and solid wastes involving the use of mixed populations of microorganisms. Bioremediation of soils, heaps and sediments using microorganisms. Use of bacteriophages in wastewater treatment processes and to evaluate the effectiveness of membrane separation processes.
